Our Story
It Started With a Joke.
Two working women were talking about the realities of life—careers, marriage, raising children, finding time for ourselves, and the stress that sometimes seemed to take our hair right along with it.
We joked that maybe we should pick the hair up off the floor and make a wig.
Then came another idea.
What if there were a place where women could create and customize their own?
“Kinda like a wig bar.”
We laughed.
Then we stopped laughing.
Because somewhere inside the joke was a very good question:
What would the alternative-hair experience look like if it were designed around the woman first?
Our Vision
To Grow Without Becoming Less.
Design Must Serve Dignity.
We envision Crown Studios™ becoming a recognized name in alternative hair and beauty—growing from one extraordinary experience into Crown Studios Houses™ across cities, communities, and eventually the world.
But our vision is not simply to become bigger.
It is to become bigger without becoming less.
INVEST IN CROWN STUDIOS™
Crown Studios™ is building a different kind of alternative-hair institution—one that brings premium products, expert craftsmanship, personalized guidance, ongoing care, and intentional hospitality together under one trusted experience.
Our ambition begins with a flagship Crown Studios House™ in the Washington metropolitan area.
Our vision extends far beyond it.
